Terms and Conditions

Practitioners

All practitioners at The Spring Rooms are self-employed, independent third parties who are fully qualified and insured.

Therapies

Your first visit may require a consultation beforehand, so it is advisable to allow extra time when booking your appointment. This allows your practitioner to obtain relevant information to be able to tailor the treatment according to your specific needs. If you are unsure you should check with your practitioner at the time of booking.

Therapy availability times and prices may vary between practitioners, please check with your chosen practitioner for details.

Whilst practitioners tend to adhere to the same terms and conditions, on occasion this can vary so it is advised to check with your practitioner for details.

Your booking

Please notify your practitioner prior to booking if you have any specific requirements (for example, an impairment, disability and or access issues) so that suitable arrangements can be made if possible.

Disabled access

The Spring Rooms offers disabled access for standard sized wheelchairs measuring between 24-25 inches (treatment door width is 27.5inches). Disabled toilets are also available a very short distanced from the treatment rooms. Mobility scooters can be left outside The Spring Rooms directly in front of the doors. Please notify The Spring Rooms or your practitioner prior to booking in order for suitable arrangements to be made.

Health and wellbeing

It is your responsibility to advise your practitioner of anything which may affect your treatment, including but not limited to whether you have any illnesses, medical conditions, injuries, are on any medication, if you are pregnant or have any allergies which you are aware of, as this may affect your suitability for treatment. The practitioner also reserves the right to refuse you treatment if you show any signs of being unwell or under the influence of drink or drugs.

Covid-19

Clients experiencing any symptoms of the Corona Virus or that have been in contact with anyone with symptoms should cancel their appointment and then isolate for 14 days. Full details of our treatment rooms health and safety protocol please see above within the Health & Safety (COVID-19) tab.

Children

Where treatment is available to those under the age of 18, a disclaimer will be required from the minor’s parent or guardian prior to the commencement of treatment. The parent or guardian must also accompany the minor on their first appointment.

For reasons of safety unfortunately we are unable to allow children to wait on the premises whilst the parent/carer is having a treatment, except for those under 18 who are having treatment. We ask that you make appropriate arrangements prior to booking your appointment.

Payment

Payment by card on the day can be made at The Spring Rooms reception, or any cash, cheque or practitioner gift cards can also be left here and will be given directly to the practitioner at the end of the day.  Alternatively, by prior arrangement via bank transfer into your practitioners account.

Gift vouchers

At this time The Spring Rooms do not offer Gift Vouchers. Any practitioner Gift Vouchers should be brought along on the day of your appointment and given to reception or directly to your Practitioner. Failure to provide this could result in another form of payment being required for the treatment. This decision is at the discretion of your practitioner and not that of The Spring Rooms.

Treatment cancellations

If you want to change your booking you must contact The Spring Rooms or your practitioner as soon as possible to rearrange.

There is a 24-hour cancellation notice for all treatments. If cancelled within less than this you may be charged the full treatment cost. This is at the discretion of your practitioner and not that of The Spring Rooms.

Mechanical/Electrical Breakdowns

Any mechanical or electrical breakdowns which occur on the premises are usually beyond our control, although we will try to repair any such fault as soon as possible. No refunds will be given unless any such breakdown is due to the negligence of The Spring Rooms or its practitioners.

Valuables

No responsibility will be accepted by The Spring Rooms or its practitioners for the safety of money or valuables of any kind brought onto the premises. If you do bring valuable items it is essential they are kept with you and are covered by your own insurance. The Spring Rooms and its practitioners will not be liable, under any circumstances whatsoever, for damage, injury or consequential loss, however caused, to our clients, their property and belongings unless it is solely due to negligence of The Spring Rooms or its practitioners.

Mobile phones

In order for all clients visiting for treatments at The Spring Rooms to be an enjoyable experience we ask that mobile phones are switched off during your time on the premises. Any calls should be taking outside of the building.
